The Concierge of Cowtown: The Power, Poise, and Purpose of Julie Faver-Dylla

If Fort Worth is known for its hospitality, then Julie Faver-Dylla is the woman standing behind the velvet rope, smiling, organizing, advocating — and somehow making it all look effortless.

They call her The Concierge of Cowtown — a nickname that fits like a pressed hotel uniform and a pair of glitter heels. She’s a connector, a powerhouse, and the pulse of an industry that never sleeps.

Where Hospitality Meets Heart

With more than 30 years in the hotel and tourism industry, Julie has built her career on one simple principle: make people feel seen.

As the President & CEO of The Hotel Association of Tarrant County (HATC), she leads an organization of more than 600 member hotels and hospitality partners — advocating, educating, and elevating the industry that defines Fort Worth’s charm.

For 15 years, she has run this powerhouse association with the precision of a CEO and the warmth of a host. She’s the kind of leader who can negotiate legislation in the morning, plan a luncheon at noon, and hand-tie bows for her kids’ birthday favors by nightfall — without missing a beat or a deadline.

The Art of Hospitality

To understand Julie is to understand hospitality itself. Her work isn’t just about events or advocacy — it’s about creating experiences.

Under her leadership, the Hotel Association has become a model of connection and community. She personally oversees monthly luncheons that draw the city’s most influential leaders, plus three marquee annual events that have become must-attends on every calendar:

  • the HATC Golf Classic,
  • the glamorous Casino Night, and
  • the sparkling Holiday Awards Luncheon.

Behind the scenes, it’s Julie — directing committees, managing sponsorships, welcoming guests, and ensuring every partner feels like the only VIP in the room.

And the best part? She does it all with only one assistant executive director.

That’s not management. That’s magic.

The CEO Who Still Sends Thank-You Notes

In an age where inboxes overflow and attention spans vanish, Julie still believes in handwritten notes and eye contact. Her colleagues will tell you: she remembers birthdays, favorite wines, and where your kids go to school.

That’s what makes her legendary in hospitality circles. She doesn’t just represent her industry — she is her industry.

And yet, for all the board meetings, panels, and networking events, her proudest title remains Mom.

She’s a super mom to two incredible kids, somehow juggling sports schedules, sleepovers, and science projects between back-to-back board luncheons. She crafts handmade favors, coordinates color-coded calendars, and shows up at every event with the same grace she brings to the podium.

Loyal, Loved, and Leading with Grace

Julie is fiercely loyal — the kind of friend who shows up early, stays late, and means it when she says, “Call me if you need anything.” Her circle runs deep, filled with business colleagues who long ago became family.

Ask anyone who knows her, and they’ll tell you: she’s the gold standard of leadership — respected, admired, and downright adored.

Her energy fills a ballroom, her attention to detail runs a mile wide, and her heart? Texas-sized.

The Beating Heart of Cowtown

Fifteen years. Hundreds of events. Thousands of hotel partners. One extraordinary woman running it all with a smile, a schedule, and a little sparkle.

Julie Faver-Dylla is more than a CEO — she’s the concierge of an entire city. The woman who ensures every detail shines, every guest feels special, and every partnership matters.

Because in Julie’s world, hospitality isn’t a job.
It’s a calling.

“She doesn’t just open doors — she builds them. And then makes sure there’s a welcome mat on the other side.”
